Created by and with thanks to That Artsy Reader! This week’s theme is so far up my street, I’ve already done it, several times–here’s a recap!
1. Reminiscing about university (and university reading)
Last year, I rounded up five years and two degrees of university the best way I know how: by listing Books I Had to Read for My Degree(s) That Are Also Perfect for the Spooky Season. It’s a little late for that now, but maybe Halloween is just a state of mind…
2. March Madness 2021
This March, I did something I’ve never done before: set up a March Madness bracket (well, four brackets, because I have never been one to go halfway) for my followers to choose my April TBR! It was a great experience, seeing how people voted and getting to interact with everyone–I’ll definitely be doing it again next March! (You can see the rounds and results from this year here!)
3. 30 for 30: Fictional Characters
Also this year: I turned 30! And celebrated with a series of blog posts about the 30 ways books have made me who I am. I started with 10 impactful characters…
4. 30 for 30: Fictional Worlds
…moved on to 10 impactful fictional worlds…
5. 30 for 30: Books
… and finished with my 10 most impactful books! (And feeling very old, and very emotional.)
How bookishly nostalgic are you?
