Created by and with thanks to That Artsy Reader! This week’s theme was surprisingly easy–was I the only one unaware of how often character names pop up in their book titles?
.

1. Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
I cannot tell you how many feels it gives me that this is the last in the trilogy, and the title sounds like Lara Jean is signing off a love letter. Right in the heart!

2. Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
Character title. Long title. Brilliant title. Next.

3. Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
Because what’s Simon without Leah?

4. Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
I recently looked this up, wondering if bitterblue is an actual colour name, and discovered it’s also the title of a Bonnie Tyler album. That changes my perceptive on the book quite a bit…

5. Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
I maintain everything I said about this in my gush. It should’ve been called Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Being Adorable.
.
Do you like character names in book titles?
I didn’t realise there were so many titles with names on them and I was surprised that I’d read so many 😂 Definitely think I have more off my TBR than on my TBR! I loved so many of these. Great list!

I was pleasantly surprised by it, too! TBRs count, I think 😉 Thank you 🙂

I’ve seen Josh & Hazel on a few lists this week. It seems to be a popular choice!

I love your list. I did something different because I was lazy but now I think it would have been easier to just walk among my bookshelves! haha.

Thank you! (I was even lazier than you–I didn’t even look at my actual bookshelf, but took photos of it so I don’t have to move to see what’s on it, haha!)
