Top Ten Tuesday: (Five) Books Guaranteed to Put a Smile On Your Face

1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I could wax poetic about this one, but honestly, why insult anyone’s intelligence by listing why this book will make you smile, when the whole world already knows?

2. Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding
I can–and often do–skip to any random page in this book and wind up smiling by the end of it. I dare you not to.

3. The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
My favourite thing about Christina Lauren books is that they’re so full of joy. I’ve read a lot more of their back catalogue since The Unhoneymooners stole my heart last summer, but there’s something about that first love that makes me smile just a touch brighter at The Unhoneymooners than at any of their others.

4. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

5. The Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot
Honestly, I couldn’t even choose a single book in this series–they’re all peak nostalgia, my happy place, the ultimate in making me smile.
