Top Ten Tuesday: (Five) Fictional Crushes

Created by and with thanks to That Artsy Reader! I LIVE for themes like this week’s theme. I haven’t got a single unpopular, original, or new thought to share, and I do not even care. ๐Ÿ˜‚

.

1. Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
He’s the original book boyfriend, isn’t he? Witty, clever, quick, a little tortured, strong, passionate, slightly reckless but will love you with all of his golden heart–there’s a reason we all look at him with heart eyes. (Actually, there are hundreds. But this is not that long a post.)

2. Eric Northman from the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries series by Charlaine Harris
Eric Northman is most of the things Will Herondale is, except darker, and deadlier, and more camp. It is an understandable OUTRAGE that he and Sookie didn’t end up together. (Also, Alexander Skarsgard.)

3. Etienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Is it enough to say I want to reread the entire series, just for flashes of him? More on this when I have…

4. Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I warned you I didn’t have a single original thought to share, and Darcy making this list is proof. (But come on: awkward, bumbling, generous, reformed snob, loves his sister and Lizzie’s eyes, well-read, looks exceptional coming out of a lake, etc.)

5. Sirius Black from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Look, this is a man who’s already had his entire own TTT post–I exhausted all the reasons I loved him here, and I have not changed my mind one iota.

.

Who are your favourite fictional crushes?

    1. Honestly, I thought the show did a pretty spot on adaptation of Eric, so you probably know him just as well from the show alone! It wouldn’t be a crush list without Darcy, haha. Thank you!

    1. I think I’m put off Knightly because Emma has never been my favourite book! There are some great adaptation versions of him I’ve enjoyed, though ๐Ÿ™‚ checking out your Tag Tuesday now!
